Tax Invoice Maker is a free online tool to prepare GST tax invoices. It is operated by Capital Investment, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This page explains what information the tool uses and how you control it.

1. Using the tool without signing in

If you do not sign in, everything you type (business details, customers, items, saved invoices) stays only in your own browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to our server.

2. Signing in with Google

Signing in is optional. It lets you keep your saved business details and invoice history and open them on any device. When you sign in with Google, Google tells us that your account is genuine. We do not see your Google password.

We store only this:

• A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your Google account ID, so that your data can be kept separate from other users. We do not store your email address or your name.
• The business details you choose to save (name, address, GSTIN, bank details, terms, logo, colour and layout choices).
• The invoices you choose to save (invoice number, date, customer details, items and totals).

Your first name, as supplied by Google, is shown on the page while you are signed in but is not saved in our database.

2a. What we do not do

• No advertising, no analytics, no tracking.
• We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
• Other users cannot see your data.

3. Cookies and storage

When you sign in, one essential, secure session cookie (ci_sess) keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. When you use the tool without signing in, your browser's local storage keeps your details on your device. We use no other cookies.

4. Third parties

The Google sign-in button is provided by Google and is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. Our website is hosted with a web hosting provider that stores the database on its servers in line with its own security practices.

5. Your choices and deleting your data

• Open History and choose Export CSV to download your invoice list.
• Open History and choose Delete all my data to permanently erase your saved invoices and business details from our server. This cannot be undone.
• Signing out removes your data from the browser you used.
• You can also ask us to delete your data by writing to the email address below.

Data you save stays until you delete it.

6. Security

The tool is served only over HTTPS and every request for saved data is checked against the signed-in account. No online system can be made completely risk-free, and the site owner, as the administrator of the database, can technically access stored information. Invoices contain details of your customers, so please save only what you need.

7. Children

The tool is meant for business use and is not intended for children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
